Dreamers Still Don't Sleep

Gotta give my homeboys in Dürerstuben a shoutout. Not only do these guys have an amazing live feel (which you can see yourself at several nice events in the near future), but from this day on, they have a split vinyl out on Mutual Musik. Preorders are now available here. Get yours while you can, this thing is hot and only the first step of these two amazing guys.

Secondly, today I got brand new stickers in the mail, which will go out for the upcoming Paper Heart Clothing spring line 2010. If you are interested in making them look nice on the lamp posts and bathroom stalls of your city, please send me your address in an email at david(at)iheartyou.de. You will then get a nice little package from me.

I am excited as things are finally beginning to move.

Take care, David

Flashback

More than a year ago, I made a trip to Hamburg. In the car were my two best friends and a small case of freshly printed shirts in green and blue. They were my prized possession, the first product of Paper Heart Clothing, the first tangible part of this young dream of mine. I was putting up stickers everywhere, meeting new people, getting shirt orders from cities I had never visited. We had an amazing time at our first photoshoot.
Today, a year and two months later, the new shirts of the 2010 spring line pile up in boxes, packaged, branded and ready to go out. I have had another awesome photoshoot, finishing touches go into everything from new stickers to a new website. Things are happening all around and I can't wait to get in touch with the whole side of watching my brand grow and meet the people that make Paper Heart what it is. To all of you, who have been a part of this young endeavour so far. I can't thank you enough. Let's do this again.

Win

Most of my true friends and the people who know me and follow the growing of my brand Paper Heart, are aware of the fact that I personally claim the lifestyle of vegetarianism and Straight Edge. Living a healthy, clean and sober life has made me incredibly inspired, motivated and overall more appreciative of the little things that make life worth living.
Having this perspective, I find it awesome to stumble upon things like One Life One Chance, a project started by H2O frontman Toby Morse. Toby is a guy that comes from the New York hardcore scene, heavily tatted up but has not touched a drop of alcohol or any other drug in the 40 years of his life. His project focusses on spreading the word about a substance-free life style and an overall Positive Mental Attitude.

Take a look at One Life One Chance, think about how you treat yourself and help spread the word.

Love, David
