Hier an der Uni schlagen gerade die Klausuren zu. Ich ziehe mir meinen Lieblingsschal an, gieße mir ein Glas Kombucha ein und drehe den hier richtig laut auf. 4:23 Minuten Entspannung.

Just had the pleasure of interviewing German comedian/actor/TV columnist Oliver Kalkofe. The interview is for an upcoming book I co-author for one of my university classes. A really nice guy, down to earth, funny, and he took at least three hours for us.

Flashing L-L-Lights.

Here is a quick recap of my pre-christmas hangout in Hamburg City, with my good friends in the electro group Dürerstuben and the lovely Svenja who runs SVNPHT (both intertwined with the first days of Paper Heart Clothing. Good people, good food, good music. I had a great time, thank you all. Good memories make my bandaged hand heal quicker, I am sure.

Dieses Gedicht könnte meinen Namen tragen. Da es das aber nicht tut, nehme ich es als guten Vorsatz für das neue Jahr. Alle Spinner, Träumer, Faulenzer, Künstler ohne Geld, Hängemattenmöger und Akademiker mit dem Wunsch, Förster zu werden können es mir gleich tun. Ein frohes Jahr für uns alle! Euer David

The Decade

In the current fashion of everybody releasing lists of the most popular albums of the decade, I show you my suggestions in the following. Each album represents a certain period of my life from the past ten years (2000-2009). It's crazy to go back and look at what I listened to back then (yeees, Linkin Park). But each album in this list has moved me and that was what counted to me while writing this list. Of course, there are huge records that appear in every other list. But the Kid A's and the Is This It's didn't move me as the following albums did. These are my greatest records of the decade.
